click here to return to the main children's page Hello! My name is Deborah Cairer and I have been the Awana Commander here at East for the past 6 years. I have been married to Glenn for nearly 22 years and we have been blessed with three daughters. Glenn runs our Awana store and is one of our game directors; he also wears many other hats during the Awana year. Our Awana club gets about 75% of our clubbers from our surrounding neighborhood. We have Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T groups, and generally average 55-65 kids each Sunday Evening. Our 7-12th grade youth group meets at the same time as Awana, and we have several of our teenagers that help us on Sunday Evening, and the entire youth group helps with our big events like the Grand Prix, Awards Banquet, and preparation for the Awanagames. God has truly blessed and grown our club over these past 6 years. Our pastor is very supportive of our club, and the church family views our club as an outreach ministry to our local neighborhood.
