Children's Activities
Sunday School
During the normal Sunday School hour, beginning at 9:15 am, we offer classes for children of all ages that include various activities and an age-appropriate Bible lesson.
Children's Church
After the Children's Moment, children grades K-3 are invited to the fellowship hall for a snack, games, crafts, and stories. This offers an alternative lesson that is sure to stick with them.
AWANA
During the school year, Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm are nonstop action with our AWANA program. Children are taught about Jesus, missions, and the Bible and participate in various games and activities. For information on van transportation to AWANA or the morning service, contact David McKinney 660-826-5842 and leave message at least 24 hours in advance.
praiSING
During the school year on Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm children age 3 through grade 6 are invited to be a part of this Children's Choir. The choir performs monthly specials and participates in holiday services.
Mission Friends
This program is geared towards younger children (up through kindergarten). The children learn about missionaries who are serving around the world and learn the importance of telling other people about Jesus. Mission Friends meets during the school year on Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Kids on Mission
KoM is a missions program designed for children in the 1st-6th grades. During the school year from 6:30-7:30 pm the children are invited to learn about missions work and how they can be involved.
Family Fun Nights
Every Wednesday night during the summer (from 6:30-7:30 pm) we offer free, fun opportunities for families to play together. Family Fun Nights are also offered sporadically throughout the school year, about once a quarter.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer we offer a week-long themed adventure involving Bible stories, snacks, crafts, music, and drama.
